EBRD records up to EUR 100 million for green leasing in Türkiye
EBRD’s project record for Türkiye GEFF III – İş Leasing describes up to EUR 100 million of senior unsecured financing for eligible green investments by private-sector sub-borrowers and vendors. At least 30% is intended for earthquake-affected regions. The facility is signed, but individual companies still require eligibility, leasing and technical assessment.

CBRT reduces Türkiye’s policy rate to 36% while retaining a tightening option
Türkiye’s central bank reduced its one-week repo rate by one percentage point to 36% and lowered both overnight rates. It said underlying inflation was decelerating and domestic demand remained weak, while elevated energy prices and geopolitical tensions continued to pose upside risks. The decision changes the policy benchmark.

Turkic customs authorities back wider eTIR use across regional corridors
IRU reports that customs leaders from the Organization of Turkic States reaffirmed support for TIR and eTIR. Several Central Asian corridors are already operational, while Türkiye–Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan–Uzbekistan operations and wider links to Europe and China are being prepared. The distinction between operational and planned corridors is essential for carriers and shippers.
