Accessibility statement
Horizon aims to make the public intelligence edition usable with keyboard, screen-reader, zoom and mobile navigation. This statement records the current commitment without claiming a certification that has not been completed.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Current measures
- Semantic page headings and landmark regions on designated public routes.
- Visible keyboard focus, labelled form controls and text alternatives for meaningful interface icons.
- Responsive layouts designed to avoid horizontal scrolling at narrow mobile widths.
- Source links and limitations kept available in text rather than conveyed only by colour.
Known limitations
- Some dense research pages and filters remain long and require further usability testing.
- Some small metadata labels and legacy content may require increased text size and contrast.
- A formal independent WCAG 2.2 AA conformance audit has not yet been completed.
Request an accessible alternative
If a page, source, control or document is difficult to use, email the page URL, the task you were trying to complete and the preferred format. Horizon will review the issue and provide a reasonable alternative where possible.
