Controller and contact
Horizon Strategies, operated by Claudio Pedretti, determines the purposes of the limited public-site processing described here. Privacy and rights requests can be sent to the contact address below.
Data processed in the public edition
- Essential request and security data needed to deliver and protect the website.
- A device-local privacy choice stored in the browser and in the horizon_analytics_consent cookie.
- Optional product analytics are disabled in the current public release; choosing Allow records the preference but does not create an analytics identifier or transmit a product event.
- No customer account, member directory, payment record or matchmaking contact is created by the current public Trans-Caspian edition.
Purposes and lawful basis
- Website delivery, abuse prevention and security: legitimate interests in operating a safe public information service.
- The optional-analytics preference is stored only to respect the visitor’s choice. Any future telemetry activation requires a separate governed release and will remain subject to consent.
- Responding to a message sent voluntarily by email: steps requested by the sender and legitimate interests in answering the enquiry.
Recipients, transfers and retention
The site is delivered through the managed hosting and security providers needed to operate it. Data may be processed where those providers operate, subject to their contractual and legal safeguards. Horizon does not sell public-site visitor data. Essential infrastructure logs follow the hosting provider’s operational retention; the browser consent choice can remain for up to twelve months unless it is changed or browser storage is cleared. The current public release does not transmit optional product-analytics events.
Your choices and rights
You may reject optional analytics without losing access to public intelligence. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability and may complain to the competent supervisory authority. Horizon will first verify the request and whether personal data connected to it is actually held.
